Terms of Service

1. Parties
The GeoRoots service (the "Service") is provided by Vitalii Shtybin (the "Seller"). Using the Service means you agree to these Terms. For any questions: support@georoots.app.
2. Merchant of Record
Payment operations (taking payment, taxes, invoices, refunds) are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (Paddle) as Merchant of Record. The payment agreement is between you and Paddle on behalf of the Seller. Details: https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms
3. Account
Paid features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for actions performed under your account.
4. Paid plans
Pro — €20/month, recurring subscription. Lifetime — €1000 one-off, base package: 1 tree up to 100 events. One-off admin service — €100, a single editing order for 1 accessible tree. Prices shown in EUR, may be localized by IP. Taxes per buyer jurisdiction.
5. Intellectual property
All rights to the Service's code and design belong to the Seller. Data you upload (texts, GEDCOM, photos) remains yours. You grant the Seller a non-exclusive license to store and process this data to deliver the service.
6. Acceptable use
You must not upload illegal content, infringe others' rights, reverse-engineer the Service, send spam, or harvest third-party personal data without consent.
7. Suspension and termination
The Seller may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or applicable law. You can delete your account in your profile or by request to support@georoots.app.
8. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is". The Seller is not liable for indirect damages. Total liability is capped at the amount paid by you in the last 12 months.
9. Governing law
EU law. Disputes are resolved in the courts of the consumer's residence or the Seller's registration.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. We notify of material changes by email or in the app at least 14 days in advance.
